Jennifer Johnson

Hello. My name is Jennifer Johnson. I am a semi-retired registered professional nurse. That is my vocation. Pottery is my avocation. I have only been throwing pots and rolling slabs for only a few years (just about as long as I have been riding a motorcycle). But I love both activities. I love the freedom of creativity and the ability to express myself that working with clay (and riding a motorcycle) provides. From preparing the clay to centering it on the wheel to drying to firing, to glazing and firing once again, the eclectic, finished product is unique and always a surprise. I am pleased to display my pottery (and a few quilts, too) at Gallery 41.
